Minute Suites are billed as “The Traveler’s Retreat” and I couldn’t agree more. Nashville is our home airport so we get to enjoy the BNA Minute Suites most times that we fly.
With a private room, you can nap, work, eat, or just take off your mask and breathe in private; away from the hustle and bustle of the normal airport.
Not Your Normal Airport Lounge
When we travel, we really enjoy airport lounges such as the Club Mobay lounge on our recent trip to Jamaica, the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Boston, the Centurion Lounge in LGA and the Punta Cana airport lounge with swimming pools. Those “normal” airport lounges provide travelers with an escape by providing comfortable seating, upgraded bathrooms and free food and drink.
Never experienced an airport lounge? Think nice restaurant with more lounging area. Read some of our airport lounge reviews and watch some of our videos to get a better feel.
Minute Suites are different than normal airport lounges.
Minute Suites Nashville Check-In
The check-in process is quick, easy and has always been friendly.
We get a private suite free for 1 hour with our Priority Pass membership. Priority Pass is free with my Chase Sapphire Reserve© card.
Priority Pass Lounge Nashville
This is the only Priority Pass Lounge in the Nashville Airport. Hopefully, Priority Pass will add another lounge at BNA in the near future. Maybe even a BNA Centurion Lounge?
Priority Pass Restaurant at BNA
While it’s not a traditional airport lounge like the AA Admiral’s Club, there’s a Priority Pass Restaurant on Concourse C. At 400 Degrees, you can get free food and drinks of up to $28 for the cardholder and a guest.
Read more about the Nashville Priority Pass Restaurant in my post about the best food at BNA.
At Minutes Suites, the always friendly and helpful front desk staff scans your member card or the QR code in your Priority Pass app. They’ll take a credit card for incidentals and then you’ll move into your suite.
Minute Suites Nashville Layout
The main attraction of a Minute Suite is that you have your own private room.
Inside your small room, you’ll typically find a couch with pillows, a small desk with chair and a mini refrigerator. As opposed to the gates, there’s no jockeying to get an outlet. I counted 10 plugs in the suite, all for me!
Well, I did let Sandra have a couple for her phone & Kindle.
The Nashville Minute Suites each have a mirror over the couch and a 32 inch TV. There’s also an Echo Dot with Alexa to control the in-room sound. There are several light controls but they don’t run through Alexa.
Strong wifi connection is included but it doesn’t reach much outside of the immediate Nashville Minute Suites area. You’ll lose the connection if you head to the bathroom or to grab some food.
The Suites are all named after something related to Nashville. We were recently in the Music City Suite & the Opry Suite.
Food and Drink Not Included
One big difference between Minute Suites and most airport lounges is that there is no free food and drink.
There’s a minibar in each room but you’ll pay for the drinks. There’s also an assortment of Cokes, water, beer and wine available in a large cooler near the front desk.

Retail Items for Sale
At the front desk, you can buy snacks and personal items including:
- Beef Jerky
- Cookies
- Candy
- Neck Pillows
- Headphones and phone chargers
- Toiletries
- Pain Meds
- Sunscreen
- Masks
Pretty much anything similar to what you can buy at other little shops in the airport can be bought here.
Shower and Bathroom Not Included
For an extra fee, there’s a private bathroom with shower available. Since our home is only a 20 minute drive from the Nashville airport, we’ve never had the need to use the shower.
Hmm, maybe we could sleep an extra 30 minutes on our next early morning flight and shower at the airport… (I’ve gotta say it’s surreal to even consider that as a possibility since we’re so new to traveling like this!)
Zuzu’s 1st Minute Suite Experience
Just 6 weeks after I started traveling for (almost) free, Sandra (aka Zuzu) was not on board with the idea of using credit cards. She just didn’t think it was a good idea and my claims of free luxury travel sounded ridiculous to her.
I had a quick business trip to St Louis that she was coming along with for free on Southwest Rewards Points. The problem was that she had a Covid booster shot the day before and she was feeling lousy as we headed to the Nashville airport.
She just wanted to go back to sleep. But she’d never been able to sleep at any airport.
We checked in to the Minute Suite and she was asleep within seconds.
When she woke up an hour later, she said: Maybe this points and miles travel thing might be ok.
Thanks to the Nashville Minute Suites, she’s been (mostly) on board with using credit cards to earn free trips to places like Hawaii, Cancun, Jamaica, Key West and a holiday trip to NYC.
Bottom Line: Would I Visit Minute Suites Again?
With free access to the Nashville Airport Minute Suites from my Sapphire Reserve card, I always look forward to this little retreat.
Other Nashville Airport Lounges
While Minute Suites is the only Priority Pass Lounge at the Nashville Airport, there are 3 other lounges here:
- American Airlines Admirals Club
- Delta Sky Club
- USA Lounge at BNA
And if you’re passing thru our city, make sure you check out our comprehensive guide to the best Nashville Airport food and restaurants. BNA has some of the best airport food in the country so I hope you’ll take advantage of our southern cooking.
